STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 14, ARTSAKHPRESS:  The film was created on the basis of Tsovinar Khachatryan’s "Gyurjevan’s Last Inhabitant" story.

The film director Jivan Avetisyan informed Artsakhpress that entitling the film “The Last Inhabitant”, they preferred not to wander from the story’s title, as the events described in the film may take place in any village or city. They are of universal character”, he said, adding that the film is about the conflict, which unites millions of people from different countries. The film is about friendship, love and self-sacrifice originating from love. More 30 actors starred in the film.

According to Avetisyan, well-known actors from Iran, Lithuania, Greece, the United States and Russia also starred in the film. The film is currently in post-production stage of the work.

In reply to the question whether a new film to be shot about Artsak,  the film director mentioned that there are a lot of work to do, and there  will be a lot of opportunities  to talk about new projects.

 “The film was shot in Artsakh, in my home village Khachmach. I am grateful to the villagers for warm reception and friendly atmosphere,” he noted, adding that the film will be soon released in Artsakh.

Armenian-American singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and lead vocalist of the rock band System of a Down Serj Tankian wrote the music for the film.
