Tigran Dzitoghtzyan, a US-Armenian artist whose canvases stand out with their unique style and design, is organizing an exhibition in Brussels on April 22 to showcase new pieces of art, Tert.am reports.

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 20, ARTSAKHPRESS: In a post on Facebook, the New York-based artist says that the exhibition will feature also canvases by prominent painters, including Damien Hirst, David LaChapelle, Frank Stella etc.

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Dzitoghtzyan chose his path as a future painter at age five. The young artist held his first individual exhibition when he was 10. There, he put on display 102 gouache canvases which were later showcased also in Spain, Russia, Japan and the United States.

From 1993 until 1999, Dzitoghtzyan studied at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. He later pursued his education at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art du Valais in Sweden, obtaining Bachelor’s (2002) and Master’s (2005) degrees. The artist has been residing in New York since 2009.
