The adversary continued shooting toward the northeastern sector, Tavush Province of Armenia, of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.
Armenia MOD: Azerbaijan army fired toward position-holders at night
STEPANAKERT, MAY 19, ARTSAKHPRESS: During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired irregular shots at the Armenian position-holders, and by using rifle weaponry.
The Republic of Armenia Ministry of Defense informed that the operational situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is relatively calm, as compared to the previous days.
“The RA armed forces control the border situation and confidently carry out the tasks that are set,” the respective statement reads.
