The representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan visited the PoW who crossed the line of contact on 26.12.2014 and provided him with an opportunity to exchange family news.
Red Cross visits Armenian captive
STEPANAKERT, JULY 13, ARTSAKHPRESS: Communication Officer of the ICRC Mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, Eteri Musayelyan, told about the aforementioned.
"The visit was conducted in line with the standard ICRC procedures.
According to its mandate, the ICRC visits detainees to monitor their treatment and conditions of detention and help to ensure that they are able to maintain contact with their families," she informed.
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic citizen Arsen Baghdasaryan was taken into Azerbaijani captivity on December 26 ,2014.
