The ambassador of Armenia to Poland, Edgar Ghazaryan, on Tuesday met with the Archbishop of Warsaw, spiritual leader of the Armenian Catholic community in Poland, Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz.

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 14, ARTSAKHPRESS: They reflected on the matters of concern to the Polish-Armenian community, and the importance of the role of the church in preservation of the Armenian identity in the diaspora, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed.
The Armenian ambassador stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Polish-Armenian community organizations and the Armenian embassy.
Also, Ghazaryan presented the ongoing preparations for the events to be held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Armenian-Polish diplomatic relations, and 650th anniversary of the Armenian community in Poland.
In addition, a special reference was made to the meaning and importance of Pope Francis’s pilgrimage to Armenia, in June.
