Football Federation of Armenia has summed up the results of the voting held in the nomination of “Player of the year", the official website of the FFA reports.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan named Armenia’s player of the year
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 21, ARTSAKHPRESS: Armenian National Squad captain and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was named the best player of 2016 in Armenia getting 245 of possible 250 points. Thus, Mkhitaryan was named Armenian player of the year for the 7th time, and 6th time in a row. In general 49 out of 50 voters have ranked Mkhitaryan in the first place.
Midfielder of Portuguese club Maritime Gevorg Ghazaryan ranks the second position with 56 points, while Marcos Pizzelli, a midfielder of Al-Fujairah, UAE, holds the third place with 45 points.
