Artsakh sportsmen have already started preparatory works for participating in Armenian and International various Championships.
Armenian Sambo Championship among Juniors and Youth will be held in Artsakh
STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 6, ARTSAKHPRESS: Ashot Danielyan, the Head of the Department of Sport of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport said in an interview with “Artsakhpress”.
Referring to the work to be done in 2017, Ashot Danielyan said that a number of events will be organized to promote healthy lifestyle, popularizing sport in all sections of the society.
Armenian Sambo Championship among juniors and youth will be held in Artsakh at the end of February. 200 sportsmen from the cities and villages of Armenia will take part in 18 weight categories,” said Danielyan, adding that Artsakh will be represented by 1-2 sportsmen in each weight category.
Referring to the number of Artsakh athletes participating in the international arena, Ashot Danielyan said that the number of athletes will be known after the championships held in Armenia. As a result of them Armenian teams composition will be decided.
