Russian embassy in Baku expecting permission to visit Lapshin

STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 9, ARTSAKHPRESS: On February 8 the embassy sent a note to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry asking to permit the Russian consulate staff to visit Russian citizen Alexander Lapshin in accordance with the Consul Convention between the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan, the Embassy in Baku said in response to NEWS.am.

The authorities have to give permission within three days. There have been no response so far.

Blogger Alexander Lapshin has been extradited from Belarus to Azerbaijan.
