STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 20, ARTSAKHPRESS: Ashot Ghoulyan highlighted the special warm relations between Artsakh and France and noted that the Artsakh people always happy to accept French relatives in Artsakh.
"February 20 is a memorable day for us. 29 years ago on this day we raised the flag of freedom, and took the first step towards the democracy. Our French friends were with us all this time, "said Ashot Ghulyan.
On behalf of the delegation Georges Colombier thanked for the warm reception and noted that he has visited some polling stations and satisfied with the referendum process. Referring to the constitutional referendum, Georges Colombier interested in the expected results.
Asked Ashot Ghulyan stated that the people of Artsakh have a track-record of taking part in referenda, and as in previous cases, this time also an active participation is expected.
Afterwards Ashot Ghoulyan presented the constitutional reform process, referring to the changes proposed in the draft Constitution.
They also discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation and the influence of regional and international developments on the Karabakh conflict settlement.
