Karvachar will soon have 24-hour drinking and irrigation water supply
STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 24, ARTSAKHPRESS: In an interview with “Artsakhpress” the head of the Shahumyan district administration Karen Yeghishyan said, adding that the city will soon have 24-hour drinking and irrigation water supply.
"The program is financed from the state budget.. In 2016 in the upper zone of Karvachar three ponds have been built.
“Water line is 18 kilometers. The work already completed in about 2.3 km,” Karen Yeghishyan said, adding that the temporary suspension of works depends on bad weather conditions.
He also noted that in summer the city will not have any problems concerning drinking and irrigation water, because the completion of works of the water line is planned in May.
