STEPANAKERT, MARCH 22, ARTSAKHPRESS: The event was attended by students of Stepanakert secondary school  and Choreographic College.

They told interesting stories about France, sang songs and recited verses in French.

 In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, Director of “Paul Éluard’s home” Francophone center”, Nelli Avanesyan said that March 20 is celebrated worldwide as the International Day of Francophone.

According to Avanesyan, the center aims to train representatives of various sectors of Artsakh in France, for which the knowledge of the French language is important. For this reason, French language courses are being organized and to spread and develop the French language in Artsakh.

In the future we will organize courses for health and tourism specialists. The courses will last 2 years, then the specialists will be trained in France for deepening professional skills.,” said Avanesyan, adding that the center has already 18-60 year old 40 students.

The events was attended by Artsakh National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan, Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs Narine Aghabalyan, representatives of Belgian delegation, teachers students and others.
