STEPANAKERT, MAY 24 , ARTSAKHPRESS: The representative of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Protection, Arthur Gabrielyan said and added: "During the Soviet Union, Azerbaijanis mercilessly hunted roes of Artsakh forests, drastically reducing the number of these animals. Now very strict supervision is exercised over the hunting of Roe Deer. Today we can state that there is a significant increase in the number of roes in the forests of Artsakh," he said, adding that they are basically able to control illegal hunting of wild animals.
