At the initiative of the “Tufenkian” Charitable Foundation, a house has been built for the Syrian-Armenian doctor Hayk Khachatryan, (Hayk Khacho) who lives in Ishkhanadzor community, Kashatagh region.

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 9, ARTSAKHPRESS: He moved to Ishkhandzor from the Syrian city of Qamishli and now lives with his 3 daughters.
"After intolerable conditions of the Syrian war, Ishkhanadzor is another world for me. People here are kindly, helpful and hardworking. I express my gratitude to the "Tufenkian" Charitable Foundation.
Due to their consistent work we have comfortable house. In my turn I will try to contribute to the development of this community, “he said in an interview with "Artsakhpress."
Executive director of the “Tufenkian” Charitable Foundation Raffi Doudaklian noted that during this year within the framework of the program to provide housing conditions to the soldiers wounded in Artsakh, 5 houses have been put into operation and by the co-financing of the “Artsakh Fund” organization’s USA branch they have handed over 6 houses in Aragamough.
“We will continue to implement our project, providing with housing conditions to our compatriots coming here from abroad. In this way we will in some way contribute to the resettlement issue.
This project is of strategic importance and we will do our best to make this area a fortress, "he said, adding that soon the fund will rebuild the Ishkhanadzor medical clinic.
“Tufenkian” Foundation's Board member Andranik Kasparyan noted that Kashatagh is the area that connects Armenia with Artsakh.
"This area is a crossroad for the Armenian nation. Now people from different communities of Armenia, Syria, Lebanon live in Ishkhanadzor and we should try to develop the community day by day, "he said.
The head of the community Arsen Teylunts, Foundation’s representatives, villagers and others were present at the ceremony of hand-over of the house.
