Around 200 people gathered in Jette, a municipality in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium, in memory of the Aramaic, Pontic Greek, and Armenian genocide victims in the Ottoman Empire.
Brussels Armenians honor Genocide victims
STEPANAKERT, JUNE 21, ARTSAKHPRESS: The ceremony took place at the location where a plaque was unveiled in 2015, to commemorate the centennial of Armenian Genocide, according to The Brussels Times.
“It is vital to continue to commemorate this genocide. Our children should be aware of what happened to their parents and grandparents,” said Luc Atas from the Federation of Belgian Armenians.
