Armenian businessman shot in Moscow dies in hospital

Armenian businessman Vachik Abgaryan, who was wounded on Tuesday morning in Moscow, died in hospital.

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 27, ARTSAKHPRESS: As reports, Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to head of the Moscow General Department of the Russian Investigative Committee, informed about the above-said to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia. 

According to the source, Abgaryan had ties with construction business.

It was reported that the Armenian man was wounded in a house at 8:10am, presumably from a firearm.

In Ivanova’s words, he was found with a gunshot wound on his chest. 

Even though Vachik Abgaryan was rushed to hospital, his life could not be saved.  

An investigation is underway.

A gun was found near his body.
