Australian-Armenian vascular surgeon perform free operations in Stepanakert
STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 11, ARTSAKHPRESS: In an interview with "Artsakhpress", he noted that on the first day of the visit they will examine the patients and if necessary, will make operations till August 13 . It should be noted that the medical aid will be free of charge and 10-12 surgeries are planned.
A. Oughourlian added that in the case of vascular diseases there is no complete treatment, as the main problems arise because of smoking and diabetes. It should be noted that in Stepanakert Ara Oughourlian is working with Stepanakert Republican’s vascular specialist Davit Khachatryan.
In his speech, D. Khachatryan noted that they have chosen those patients who have only pulmonary symptoms as they should be shown high-tech interventions. Mr. Oghourlyan has brought with him a number of equipment that we do not have here," he said.
It should be noted that Ara Oughourlian was born in Turkey, but now lives and works in Austria, where he has the reputation of the best specialist.
