STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 31, ARTSAKHPRESS:The founder of  “Artsakh Arts and Cultural Foundation”, Garo Madenlian, told "Artsakhpress".

As Madenlian noted, the foundation plans to make short videos about Artsakh that will be a visiting card for tourists. And by the end of September, the foundation will launch a new project, which plans to provide sleeping bags for the Defense Army.

"Apart from such charitable projects, we also have good cooperation with Artsakh film director Jivan Avetisyan. We got acquainted with him during the premiere of "Tevanik" in Yerevan. Then we decided to do something for the “The Last Inhabitant" film. We will continue our cooperation for shooting the new film “Gate to Heaven," said Garo Madenlian and added that Jivan is doing a great job by presenting Artsakh to the world through cinema. Speaking about cooperation with the Foundation, Jivan Avetisyan noted that he highly appreciates the formed relations.

 “Last year in April thanks to “Artsakh Arts and Cultural Foundation” the film was screened at the legendary Alex Theatre in the USA which was touched upon by the official website of the Golden Globe and the well-known American Los Angeles Times newspaper,” said Jivan Avetisyan and added that since September 15 the film’s screenings   will continue in number of US cities.

Jivan Avetisyan noted that on September 5 the film ''The Last Inhabitant'' will be screened at Venice production Bridge Film Festival.

It should be noted that the film was screened in the frameworks of Shanghai International Film Festival, at Golden Globe Awards, in Lebanon, US, Russia, Iran and other countries.
