STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 2, ARTSAKHPRESS: Since early morning, a flow of people have already visited the Memorial complex of Stepanakert.
Presidents of the Artsakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia Bako Sahakyan and Serzh Sargsyan visited the Stepanakert Memorial Complex, laid wreaths and flowers to the tombs of freedom fighters perished for the Artsakh independence and freedom and the memorial of the first chairman of the NKR National Assembly Arthur Mkrtchyan.
NKR second President Arkady Ghoukasyan, primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, prime-minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, high-ranking officials from Artsakh and Armenia, representatives from the Diaspora and foreign guests partook at the events.
In the framework of celebration festive events will be held in all regions of Artsakh. A concert will be held at the Stepanakert Revival Square. The celebrations will end with a firework display.
