STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 23, ARTSAKHPRESS:  The film tells about the everyday life of people living in the villages of Zuar and Havsatagh.

 

Tsovak is a village school director who teaches mathematics and physics. Sayat is a professional dancer, but acts as the mayor of Havsatagh Village.
The villages are in a non-existent country.

In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, the film director Jana Richter said that she had heard from her Armenian lecturer in Germany about Artsakh and Armenia.
"Years later I came and documented the traces of the Artsakh war. And ten years later I am again in Artsakh and have seen significant changes here. "

She also added that after 10 years she would like to shoot a film, which will be the continuation of this film and not present to the international community a non-existent country, but  to present developing and prospering Artsakh.
The film's producer, David Safaryan, said that he is the lecturer who told the talented student about Artsakh and Armenia.

"When Jana wanted to shoot a film about Artsakh, I was surprised thinking that she could not shoot a film without knowing the pain and suffering of the Armenian people. However, ee have agreed and Jana visited Artsakh from time to time, lived several months here, got acquainted with people’s problems, and then we started shootings of the film.

Jana was able to shoot a real atmosphere in Artsakh, true facts, interesting episodes, "he said, adding that the film "Traces of War" is a joint product of Studio DS, Richter Production, Nur Film Group.
After participating in a number of international festivals and winning awards, the authors decided to organize a screening in Armenia and Artsakh.
