A young pianist from Artsakh honored with Grand Prix Award in an international music festival-competition

On October 22 a young pianist from Stepanakert, Anahit Arushanyan, participated in the international music festival-competition of the Canary Islands “Stars at Tenerife” and was honored with Grand Prix Award.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 13, ARTSAKHPRESS:In an interview with Artsakhpress Anahit Arushanyan, a first-year student at the Long Island Conservatory, said that representatives from 26 countries participated in the festival. “I performed the compositions of Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Bizet, Brahms. I am very glad that my performances were so highly praised,” -said Anahit Arushanyan and added that besides the Grand Prix Award she received invitations from two other festival-competitions.

According to our interviewee the first will take place in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, January 3-7. The second will be held in April, in the Baden-Württemberg state in Germany.
