STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 18, ARTSAKHPRESS:Minister of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism, Sergey Shahverdyan, said the abovementioned during a press conference.

In his words, Russia, Europe, USA and Iran are the most popular among tourists.

There are 50 tourist hotels in Artsakh at present.

In his speech the minister said that Tourist Friends project will operate in Artsakh from 2017. The project will enable tourists to use round-the-clock information service.

“Due to the service the tourists will get an opportunity to get acquainted with Artsakh more closely,” Sergey Shahverdyan said.

Speaking about ecotourism, the minister said that, in order to develop it, the ministry of culture is planning to set up guest houses in rural communities.
