On January 9 acceptance of applications for participation in leadership development program of ''Teach for Armenia'' was launched. All those who wish can participate in the program, regardless of speciality and experience.
''Teach For Armenia'' receives applications
STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 16, ARTSAKHPRESS:In order to participate in the program you need to press the button ''Apply now'' on www.teachforarmenia.org and fill in the application. A formal invitation will be sent to all those who have been chosen for participation.
During the two years of teaching the participants get teaching qualification.
''Teach for Armenia'' program's marketing and communication coordinator, Tatevik Ghazaryan, said that the program aims at revealing professional and leadership potential of the youth. At the same time it promotes the development of rural communities.
She noted that for application it is not necessary to have teaching qualification. You need to have at least a bachelor's degree and basic knwledge of English.
''We already have 71 participants in different provinces in Armenia. We also have 14 graduates, who have accomplished the two-year program,'' Tatevik Ghazaryan said.
In her words the program does not provide the participants with a lodging but supports them with money.
To remind, ''Teach for Armenia'' is an educational fund, which has been operating since 2014 and carries out two years's program of leadership development.''Teach for Armenia'' was founded by Larisa Hovannisyan.
