In 2017 961 marriages were registered in Artsakh as compared to 934 marriages of the year past.

In 2017 the number of marriages in Artsakh increased

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 19, ARTSAKHPRESS:Civil Acts Registration Office and Notary Office of the Ministry of Justice of Artsakh told Artsakhpress about the aforesaid. The source added that average marriage age for men and women is 28 and 23, respectively.

According to the source, in 2017 227 divorces were registered as compared to 168 divorces in the last year. The median age of divorce is 33. Women file for divorce more often.

In 2017 the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Artsakh has registered 23 cases of foreign citizens' marriage permissions.
