Construction works of Karvachar-Norabak-Sotk, the third alternative road connecting Artsakh with Armenia, have been launched.

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 6, ARTSAKHPRESS:Deputy Minister of Urban Development of Artsakh, Pavel Najaryan, told Artsakhpress about the aforementioned. He added that the hydro-geological studies of grounds are being carried out.
“A nearly 26 km-long road will be constructed to reach the Sotk village of the Gegharkunik province from Karvachar and to join the main highway. Thus, we will have the third alternative road, which will connect Artsakh with Armenia,’’ the Deputy Minister said. He next spoke about the current studies aimed at finding appropriate solutions in terms of water draining systems, necessary infrastructures and installment of engineering structures.
The construction is set to be completed by the end of the year.
