Unknown set fire in the night on Sunday the building of a mosque and Turkish cultural center in the Reinickendorf district in the North of Berlin, Berliner Zeitung reported.

 STEPANAKERT, MARCH 12, ARTSAKHPRESS:Three young people set fire to the building at about 02:00 local time (04:00 GMT), and then fled. In extinguishing the fire was attended by 60 firefighters. The main room of the mosque completely burned, no one was hurt. “Most of our mosques are now unusable”, reported on the page of religious institutions in Facebook.

Police believe that the crime was politically motivated. According to Berliner Zeitung, the organization of “Turkish-Islamic Union for religious communication”, which was the victim of arson of a cultural center, has a network of around 900 branches throughout Germany and associated with President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan  .
