STEPANAKERT, MARCH 16, ARTSAKHPRESS:As Artsakhpress correspondent informs, welcoming the guests, Artsakh Minister of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures said, “We should outline the works that we will implement in the upcoming months.’’

Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia, Amalya Eghoyan, said various technological projects have been carried out in Artsakh since 2009.

“I am glad that today the ministry has an initiative to strengthen and develop the sphere by bringing Armenia’s experience to Artsakh. The sphere of information technologies has entered Artsakh in 2009, when not only in Stepanakert but in the regions of Martakert, Martuni and Askeran retraining courses in information science were organized. The project was carried out along with the “Armenian Educational Institution’’. The same solutions that are made in Yerevan and other cities of Armenia can be carried out in Artsakh,’’ Deputy Minister said, in particular.

"Enterprise Incubator” Foundation Director, Bagrat Yengibaryan, said despite the fact that 2-3 years ago only a few people would believe that information technologies could become reality in Artsakh, today we see the first steps being taken successfully.

“We have organizations created by foreign capital, where over thirty specialists work. We should look forward and make use of world challenges. It is the development of new technologies — artificial intelligence and mechanical teaching. This is an exceptional opportunity for the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh to deal with this direction and boost education development and bring new technological organizations into the country,’’ Bagrat Yengibaryan said.

Following the meeting, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia, Amalya Eghoyan, “Enterprise Incubator” Foundation Director, Bagrat Yengibaryan, and coworkers of the Artsakh Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures visited the Artsakh information technology center. The guests met with the director of the center and spoke about the forthcoming programs and further continuation of cooperation.
