On Monday “Armat” engineering laboratory opened in Mataghis community’s school in Martakert region. It is the tenth in Artsakh, Artsakh Ministry of Education, Science and Sport informed ArtsakhPress.
“Armat” engineering laboratory opens in Artsakh village’s school
STEPANAKERT, APRIL 24, ARTSAKHPRESS:The source said that the project was carried out within the frames of cooperation between Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) and Artsakh Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. “Base Metals” CSJC sponsored the project.
As the Ministry informed, “Armat” engineering laboratories successfully operate both in Armenia and Artsakh. They get thousands of children acquainted with subtleties of engineering and programming. The results are immediate: children come up with ideas that catch many by surprise.
At the solemn opening ceremony, Minister of Education, Science and Sport, Narine Aghabalyan, said the Ministry will continue to search means for implementing such programs in all schools of Artsakh.
Member of the Standing Committee of Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Affairs of Artsakh Republic NA Gagik Baghunts, head of the project of UITE “Armat” engineering laboratory, Sedrak Vardanyan were also present at the event.
