The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 486.19/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is up by AMD 0.82 from the previous business day in the country, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
Dollar gaining strength in Armenia
STEPANAKERT, MAY 7, ARTSAKHPRESS:The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 579.98 (down by AMD 0.57), that of one British pound totaled AMD 657.82 (down by AMD 0.10), and the rate of one Russian ruble made up AMD 7.73 (up by AMD 0.07) in the country.
In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 256.59, AMD 20,467.72 and AMD 14,083.86, respectively.
The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no USD trading on Monday.
