On May 18 from 10 am to 6 pm, and on May 19 from 6 pm to 12 am, on the occasion of International Museum Day, a day of open doors is announced in the state cultural and historical reserves of “Tigranakert” and in the Melik’s palace of Togh.

STEPANAKERT, MAY 17, ARTSAKHPRESS:Artsakh Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism Ministry’s “State Service for the Protection of Historical Environment” SNCO informed ArtsakhPress about the aforementioned. The source added that on May 18 International Museum Day will be celebrated in Artsakh, like in many countries. On May 19 the event “Museum Night” will be organized.

On May 19, within the framework of ''Museum Night'', various events are set to be organized in a number of reserves of “State Service for the Protection of Historical Environment”.

In particular, visitors will get acquainted with the museum's permanent exhibits, will enjoy live classic music and will taste traditional tea of Tigranakert.

In the state historical and cultural reserve of Melik palace in Togh, the overall results of archeological excavations carried out in 2017 in the southern graveyard of Togh's St. Hovhannes church and the new exhibits of the museum will be presented to visitors. The events will start at 7 pm.
