Rwanda President elected for third term

STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 5, ARTSAKHPRESS: Kagame will thus be the President of Rwanda for the third term. He won 98 percent of votes, AP reports.

The voter turnover made up 88 percent. The official results of the election will be presented Saturday evening, but no significant changes in figures are expected.

Kagame has been ruling Rwanda since 1994.
