16:02   10 January, 2018

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 10, ARTSAKHPRESS:Adviser to the Minister of State of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, who is in Marseille at the moment, told Artsakhpress about the aforesaid.

In his words Les Pennes-Mirabeau is ''filled'' with Artsakhian culture.

The presentation and discussion of French-Armenian lawyer Jirair Gergerian’s book titled “Nagorno Karabakh: Between secession and self-determination” was held. I also attended it, presented the history of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani conflict, the current situation, the features of Artsakh’s state institutions and economic achievements. There were questions from the presents. The senator asked me what concessions Artsakh is ready to make. I noted that at the moment Artsakh is not a party to the negotiation. They have not presented any proposals for the settlement of the conflict. I emphasized, however, that Artsakh's people are ready for negotiations aimed at achieving final peace; but not at the expense of their territories and security,'' Artak Beglaryan said.

In line with the presentation of the book, a photo exhibition of French photographer was organized dedicated to Artsakh. The event was attended by the mayor, regional senator, Artsakh’s representative in France, guests, as well as the representatives of the Armenian community.
