Spartakiad provincial phase launched in Stepanakert

STEPANAKERT, MAY 15, ARTSAKHPRESS:Chief referee of the sport event, Vardges Mkhitaryan, told ArtsakhPress that six teams, each with eleven participants, from Stepanakert public schools participate in the Spartakiad.

The referee next said that the Spartakiad aims at raising the level of schoolchildren’s physical preparedness, to strengthen their health as well as to involve senior pupils in sport events.

Winners of the provincial phase of Spartakiad will be awarded diplomas and monetary prizes.

To note, Spartakiad is held in three phases: inter school, provincial, and republican.
