Number of divorces reduces in Artsakh

Civil Acts Registration Office and Notary Office of the Ministry of Justice of Artsakh reported that in 2018 204 divorces were registered in Artsakh as compared to 204 cases of 2017.

Number of divorces reduces in Artsakh

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 25, ARTSAKHPRESS: Ararat Danielyan, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Artsakh said at the press conference held on January 25.

92 of the registered divorces were based on the joint application of couples, 111 –through court and one case based on the request of one of the spouses.

The median age of divorce is 34. Women file for divorce more often.

In 2018 899 marriages were registered in Artsakh.
