The Special Investigative Service (SIS) has refused to confirm or deny media rumors on former President Serzh Sargsyan being questioned as a witness amid the ongoing investigation into the March 1 case.

STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 4, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: “The Special Investigative Service does not comment on the information about Serzh Sargsyan being questioned in the March 1 case,” SIS spokesperson Marina Ohanjanyan told Armenpress.
The March 1 case refers to the 2008 post-election unrest in Yerevan. At that time, Sargsyan served as Prime Minister.
