Armenian FM comments on PM’s statement regarding sides of NK conflict
STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 4, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: In his remarks the Armenian PM said he believes that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries and the international community have made it clear that it is up to the three sides involved in the conflict to resolve it.
“Armenia has its part in the negotiations. Armenia is a negotiating side. Armenia is the guarantor of the security of Artsakh. There are three sides in this regard. Armenia will continue to do that”, the foreign minister said.
On February 1 during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan stated: “I believe that the co-chairing countries and the international community have made it clear that it is up to the three sides involved in the conflict to resolve it. The international community cannot resolve the conflict for the three sides to the conflict; it can just provide a platform for negotiation. I believe that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have succeeded in terms of creating that platform”.
