The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Artsakh plans to organize a meeting with the heads, coaches and sportsmen of Artsakh federations on Feb.8.

STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 5, ARTSAKHPRESS: As “Artsakhpress” reports, Narine Aghabalyan, Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Artsakh stated at the press conference held on February 5, noting that the ministry constantly cooperates with the federations operating in Artsakh.
“A number of issues related to the field of sport will be discussed during the meeting. At present, there are 25 sport federations in Artsakh where a considerable increase in the number of involved children is observed.
In order to regulate the work in this field, we must have a project in order to discuss with our Armenian partners the future plans. We have tangible results in this field.
In 2018, state allocations provided to the field of sport have increased by about 60% as compared to 2016,”Aghabalyan noted and underlined that special attention should be paid to the development of Olympic sports.
