Today on March 1 various events dedicated to the International Civil Defense Day were organized in the educational institutions of the Artsakh Republic, aimed at raising people's awareness and preparedness in emergency situations.

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 1, ARTSAKHPRESS: Teachers and pupils of the school N1 named after Khachatour Abovyan in Stepanakert, hearing the "air alarm" signal, went to the shelters and organized a number of defensive operations.
The employees of the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Artsakh , Head of Education and Sport Department at Stepanakert City Hall Karlen Margaryan were present to witness the trainings and give appropriate instructions.
In an interview with ArtsakhPress, the Head of Education and Sport Department at Stepanakert City Hall Karlen Margaryan said that taking into consideration the peculiarities of the Artsakh region, the organization of such events is very important.
"Our children should always be ready to take the right steps in such situations. This event dedicated to the International Civil Defense Day, has proved that in such situations the pedagogical staff and pupils are ready to manifest themselves in a proper way.
