In 2018, 28 588 foreign citizens visited Artsakh; it has increased by 23% as compared with the same period last year.
Number of tourists visiting Artsakh increased by 23%
STEPANAKERT, MARCH 7, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Artsakh told Artsakhpress.
He noted that foreign citizens visited Artsakh from 87 countries of the world.
"This year, 112 tourists visited Artsakh from Israel, registering an unprecedented index.
“Tourists mostly prefer Stepanakert, Shushi, Tigranakert, Dadivank, Gandzasar and the Azokh cave,” said Sargsyan and added that foreign citizens get information about Artsakh from tourist information centers in the capital, Shushi, Tigranakert and Tsazkashat.
