Republican Stage of "Artsvik" Military Games Kicked off in Stepanakert

On 19 March, at the joint initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Artsakh Republic, Artsakh Defense Ministry and the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Artsakh, the republican stage of “ Artsvik” military games has kicked off in Stepanakert's military college after Christopher Ivanyan.

STEPANAKERT,  MARCH 19, ARTSAKHPRESS:  The representative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport told ArtsakhPress, noting that 8 teams that have taken first places in the regional and municipal stages have an opportunity to participate in this stage. Each team consists of 9 participants- 6 boys and 3 girls.

The competitions will last 3 days and will include: marching, Kalashnikov rifle shooting, magazine charging, civil defense and physical training .

Physical training includes grenade throwing and running- 100m, 500m and 1000m.

The aim of the games is to teach patriotism to the future generation, to learn military skills, and to determine the degree of  mastering of  the training plan. At the end of the games, we will form two teams to participate in the ‘Koryun’ military games to be held in Armenia.
