An international judo tournament was held in Vanadzor, Armenian Republic on April 13-14.

Artsakh Athletes Won Medals at International Judo Tournament

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 16, ARTSAKHPRESS: 10 Artsakh athletes took part in the tournament and were awarded with medals.

Head coach of Artsakh Judo Federation Ivan Azizbekyan told "Artsakhpress", noting that the tournament was dedicated to the memory of those who fell victim during Artsakh Liberation War.

Athletes from Artsakh, Armenia, Georgia and Russia participated in the tournament.

As I. Azizbekyan noted, 6 athletes won prizes. Arman Parsiyants (24kg) was awarded with gold medal and diploma. In different weight categories 4 athletes took the second place and one athlete-the 3^rd place and were awarded with silver and bronze medals. The head coach noted that the results are satisfactory and they hope to have good results at the upcoming tournaments.
