STEPANAKERT, MAY 10,  ARTSAKHPRESS:  Narek Avetisyan wounded in the Artsakh Liberation War.
"As a sapper, I fought for the protection of my homeland, but in 1993 I got brain damage and contusion in a mine explosion. After the initial treatment, I returned to combat activity and participated in combat operations before the end of the war. Due to my health problems, I am not able to take a permanent job. My wife also does not work, "said Avetisyan.
Narek's wife, Shogher Mirzakhanyan,  told Artsakhpress that they lived in poor housing conditions.
"With the efforts of Tufenkian Foundation today our family, where we live with our three children, already has a 3 bedroom bright and comfortable rebuilt house," added Mirzakhanyan.
She thanked the foundation's employees and benefactors who have provided such support to their family.
The Executive Director of the ''Tufenkian'' charitable foundation Raffi Dudaklyan, said that the Housing for Wounded Soldiers program was launched in 2016.
"The goal of the project is to help those who have housing problems. Within the framework of the project, 11 houses have been built, renovated or acquired,” he noted.
Speaking about other projects implemented by the foundation, the Executive Director said that they are implementing economic development and housing projects in Kashatagh.
