Three Russian-Armenians honored with Putin's state award
STEPANAKERT, MAY 24, ARTSAKHPRESS: Editor-in-Chief of Russia Today Margarita Simonyan has received the Alexander Nevsky order from President Vladimir Putin. Academician Leyla Adamyan, the chief obstetrician-gynecologist of the Russian Ministry of Health, has been named the recipient of the second-class order ''For Merit to the Fatherland'', Tert.am reports.
The third honoree is from the sports world. The title of a merited representative of the Russian physical culture has been conferred on Nikita Simomyan, a Russian-Armenian football-striker currently holding the post of a deputy president at the Russian Football Union.
