STEPANAKERT, MAY 30,  ARTSAKHPRESS: Two bronze sculptures from the late singer’s personal collection – La Tauromachie by Germaine Richier (1902-1959) and Plaque Tesconi by César Baldaccini (1921-1998) – will be put up for auction.

Conceived by the artist in 1953 and realized in an edition of 11, Germaine Richier was acquired by Aznavour from his friend, singer Fred Mella, a member of the Compagnons de la chanson, Art Daily reports.

Present in several prestigious institutional collections, it currently holds the world auction record for a Germaine Richier’s work of art (3,086,400 euros in December 2017).

Plaque Tesconi named after the Tesconi foundry which the artist worked with is initially estimated between 60,000 and 80,000 euros.
