The harvest of grain crops in Artsakh is underway
STEPANAKERT, JUNE 27, ARTSAKHPRESS: Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh Vilen Avetisyan told Artsakhpress, noting that the gross yield amounted to 84 thousand 307 tons, while the average yield is 17,2 quintals per hectare.
Overall 20 thousand 279 hectares of wheat and 28 thousand 818 hectares of barley have been reaped.
The gross yield of wheat amounted to 36 thousand 578 tons; 47 thousand 779 tons -barley.
The average yield of wheat amounted to 18 quintals per hectare; 16, 6 quintals -barley
According to the Deputy Minister, 206 combines are involved in the harvesting works.
Talking about the results, our interlocutor said that due to unfavorable weather conditions the indexes are lower as compared to the previous year.
