STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 16,  ARTSAKHPRESSHis nomination has been approved by the heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries and submitted to the EAEU heads of states for approval, the EEC press service told TASS.

“Now, his candidacy will be submitted to the members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on October 1, at the meeting to be held in [Armenia’s capital city of] Yerevan,” the EEC press service noted, in particular.

The Eurasian Economic Commission is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union which comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

On May 30, Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesman for the United Nations Secretary-General, had informed that Tatiana Valovaya will be heading the United Nations Office at Geneva.
