At the joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures of Artsakh Republic, the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of AR and “Yell Extreme Park" company, the third air festival (Artsakh AirFest) was held at the airport of Stepanakert on 24 August.

STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 24,  ARTSAKHPRESSBalloon, airplane and paraplane flights were organized and an air show program was demonstrated.

The show was followed by a concert with the participation of the Ararat Band and Shushva Band.

Artak Grigoryan, Head of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Artsakh, told "Artsakhpress" that the participants of the festival are increasing year by year.

This year the festival featured participants from Armenia, Artsakh and abroad.

Tigran Chibukhchyan, the founder of “Yell Extreme Park Company”, noted that the organization of the festival aimed at developing the aviation.

“Taking into account Artsakh's potential, rich nature and historical sites, the festival is also a great impetus for tourism development,” said Chibukhchyan.

Aram Petrosyan, a Dutch-Armenian tourist who is in Artsakh on a two-day cognitive visit decided not to miss the opportunity to take part in the festival.

“Artsakh is a very interesting, beautiful, safe country; people are smiling and kind. I am in Artsakh for the first time. I've been to Dadivank, Gandzasar, Shushi. Most of all, I was captivated by the wonderful nature of Artsakh, "he added.

Polshakov Yevgeny, who came from Russia, told Artsakhpress:   "I am in Artsakh for the second time, but I am participating in the air festival for the first time.

I am impressed with Artsakh and the people of Artsakh. Everything is quiet here. I loved "Hunot Canyon" State Natural-Historical Reserve a lot. I think this festival is a good opportunity for tourists to feel the spirit of Artsakh more closely. "

Lucia Bortolotti, who came from Italy, noted that she is very impressed with the event.
“I am glad to be in Artsakh. The atmosphere here is very warm.
I have noticed some similarities between the Italians and the Artsakh people; it make me more excited,”she said.
