STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 5,  ARTSAKHPRESS As a part of the program, the school has been painted with educational illustrations related to various subjects on the principle of Finnish schools.

Today the opening ceremony of Norshen's colorful school took place. The Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Artsakh, Narine Aghabalyan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sport Michael Hambardzumyan, the leader of the project and a member of the “ Teach for Armenia “Foundation, Ara Harutyunyan who previously taught physics at the Norshen school, attended the event.

In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, Ara Harutyunyan said that the idea of implementing such a project arose a year before.

Haroutyunyan noted that the project was implemented with the financial support of Paul Khalarian and his wife Janet Khalarian. The project was realized by Harutyunyan's friends - Ani Khachatryan and Nelly Sargsyan. They stayed in Norshen for about two weeks and worked with school students from morning to evening, helping them to color the school, developing children's skills, as well as creating other teaching decors and attributes.
The school has acquired a new, unique look with more motivating, warm colors. Norshen School is the only school of its kind in Artsakh,” said Harutyunyan.
The minister of Education, Science and Sport of Artsakh, Narine Aghabalyan welcomed the implementation of such a project.
The Minister expressed confidence that the Norshen School will have a good influence on the quality of the knowledge and learning process.
Narine Aghabalyan thanked Ara Harutyunyan for the implementation of the project, as well as for his significant contribution to the school over the past years. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Artsakh donated a printer to the school.
