STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 6,  ARTSAKHPRESS: The new measure is part of the State Department’s Reward for Justice program, which coincides with the latest U.S. Treasury sanctions for the IRGC-related oil transportation network.

This is part of the campaign of the maximum pressure that we put on the Iranian regime during the last year since the withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement, he said.

According to him, the nuclear deal was fundamentally wrong and this allowed the Iranian regime to receive cash, which could further inflame terror in the region.

Ortagus added that President Donald Trump will keep diplomatic channels with Iran open, but will continue to exert pressure through US sanctions.
