STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 28, ARTSAKHPRESS: The event will be part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. In the film, a part of which has already been released, Charles Aznavour also talks about the Armenian Genocide and mentions the following: “I am in favor of seeing young Turks try to know what’s not written in the books that have been reedited, or in the newspapers that have been republished. It’s not good to do such things. I think the time has come for Ankara to make an important decision, a real decision.

The big country Turkey will become even bigger, if it recognizes what happened.” Nouvelles d’Armenie informs, that starting from February, there will also be a series of radio programs with the title “AZNAVOUR STORY 2015”, which will be broadcast not only on French-Armenian radio stations, but also Jewish radio stations in Paris, Lyon, Vienne, Valence and Marseille.

On the evening of January 28, Charles Aznavour will be granted the Commemorative Medal of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) during the annual banquet of the CCAF. President of France Francois Hollande will also be attending the banquet.
