US President Donald Trump, at a meeting with reporters in the White House, said that Iran would never have nuclear weapons, and that uranium enrichment would be “very, very dangerous” for Tehran.
Trump: Iran will never have nuclear weapons
STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 12, ARTSAKHPRESS: “We cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. And they will never possess it. If they [Iranians] think about enrichment [uranium], then they can forget about it, ”Trump said, according to Russia Today.
In addition, the American leader noted that Iran is experiencing tremendous financial difficulties due to increased sanctions.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo promised to strip Iran of all paths to nuclear weapons.
He also announced his intention to resolve the conflict with Tehran through diplomacy.
